Supermax is a leading international manufacturer, distributor and marketer of high quality medical gloves.

Established in 1987, its founders started a trading business to distribute latex gloves and eventually ventured into the manufacturing of latex gloves in 1989.

To achieve Supermax’s corporate mission to be the Global Brand of Choice among users of Medical Gloves, the company has, since its inception, focused on the business model of BRAND building. To date, it has developed in-house brands like SUPERMAX®, AURELIA™, MAXTER™, MEDIC-DENT™ and SUPERGLOVES® that are well-recognised in the global market, especially dental, pharmaceutical and scientific laboratory segments for their premium quality and innovative features. With more than 18 years of brand promotion efforts, these in-house brands are now being accepted and sought after in more than 145 countries around the world. Certifications such as FDA, EC and ISO endorse further the quality of Supermax glove products which are distributed and marketed through collaborations with 350 independent distributors as well as Supermax’s own distribution centers in USA, Europe, Brazil, Australia and Canada.

Today, the total annual production capacity of Supermax exceeds over 8 billion pieces of gloves, making us one of largest manufacturer of latex gloves in Malaysia.

In 2005, Supermax has acquired and/or invested in 2 other glove makers in Malaysia, namely APL Industries and Seal polymer Industries. The combination of 3 groups has contributed approximately 18 billion annual capacity, or 16% of global glove consumption of 110 billion pieces annually.
